Shall I stay or shall I go
October 27th, 2006 | by lissie |My current employer has offered me a contract through to February - which would take me very close to when we are looking at departing for Australia. Though Paul muttered today if he he doesnt get his full bonus he may be quitting sooner than later - and then he went back to work n a Saturday. The good thing about the current contract is that its not very stressful and I know enough people there to be ocasionally enteretained. The bad thing is the politics - truely woeful - even for the coroporate IT world and no sign that it will get better.
I dont really want to leave and get a new contract at this stage - not that there is any shortage of work - I would like to stop and work on websites etc full time - but to be fair the money in contracting is a bit too tempting at the moment.
Painters in now - so building works hopefully in the last wek.
