Property Empire

Well for a few more $ than that. I have signed on until Feb, well verbally anyway- its not like they have sorted the paperwork out or anything. My compromise, pathetic that it is, is to make sure that I take a few days off to do some of the other stuff which is piling up. Paul had a day in lieu to so we hit the road - to see the branch of our property empire in Foxton The empire has had a bit of painting and tidying up recently and we seem to have a set of plesent tenants who keep their homes much tidier than I do mine !

Our house still has painters, and builders, the painters keep uncovering more rotten windows - but we are sure we have got them all now - basically because we have replaced almost the entire set (or bits thereof) . Looking at putting on the market to rent just after New Year’s so we are set to classically finish the place the week before we move out !

Incidentally for those of you who know Foxton - we were gobsmacked to see a property for $700,000 (it was quite nice but not on a huge piece of land). 3 years ago when we bought you couldnt spend $200k on a property - now there is even a lakeside sub-division going in (yes I know there isnt a lake there - but there will be soon!)
