Freedom
March 2nd, 2007 | by lissie |Yesterday I finished work. I don’t know when I will work again and I am hoping that it might even be never! To be honest it was a bit anti-climatic, so long anticipated, people running around a bit because I wasn’t actually going to be there Monday.
It seems like a long time since I was in this position - in fact it was - 1992 to be exact. This is the first time for Paul. We still have a few things to do before we actually leave the country on Wednesday, boring tax things and a bit more packing.
It has got to be said thought that Wellington has made a late run for having a reasonable summer weather. The weather was awful through to February and has been glorious all month - for those of you who know Wellington’s reputation for wind this photo shows a flat calm day on the south coast - extraordinary!
