Cooktown

Well we have made it to the end of the sealed road - we came via the coast through the Daintree and Cape Tribulation so we actually got to practice some nice water crossings for Truckie- now Truckie is a grubby truck again! The weather is pretty much perfect, noticeably more humid but pleasent at night. Unfortunately you get the blanket message you cant swim anywhere in the sea, because of crocs, which is obviously nonsense but with the liabiltiy laws no one will tell you where you can swim! The pools are for some reason cooler than the sea (I don’t understand how that happens!) Not sure when the next update will be - we may even run out of powered campsite for the next day or 2!
