January Earnings Report
February 3rd, 2008 | by lissie |Well I guess I feel a bit that the pressure is off now that I am committed to the almost professional part-time job I wrote about last time. But the earnings aren’t too bad for the month
- Adsense: $22.91 ($12.67 ) thats from the little ads you see scattered around my sites - my traffic has gone up a lot on HubPages so this is a pure numbers game
- An exciting development - I earned $1.56 from Amazon - mainly because someone bought a a relevant Italy travel guide from one of my hubs - so if you want to buy any Amazon products or books please remember to use the link on the right of this page - it costs you nothing to give me the commission!
- Unfortunately I didn’t repeat last month’s success with EBay and didn’t earn anything from them.
- Hubpages: I published 1 more flagship hubs which paid me $25, there topics haven’t really been of interest to me this month but finally I got a nice one

Now this is a topic close to my heart - having spent ages trying to find the right laptop for our Australia trip and certainly discovered then the smaller they are the more you pay. However there is a new development which I would definitly consider for a travel laptop - the Asus Eee PC - which is about A$500 or less here - is only 7″ screen but runs OpenOffice and web browsing just fine. It looks pretty robust for travelling too.

I write for Xomba.com and regularly make somewhere between $70 - $150 a month writing about 10 or so articles a week. I’ve heard of some people making making more than that but that has been my experience.

Thanks for the honest feedback Baldwin. I have looked at Xomba - and liked the look of it but not got around to writing for them!
