About Me
The travel bug has been a bit of a lifelong passion for me - it was my mother’s fault - she moved to England to marry my father in the 50’s and we as a family ended up moving to New Zealand when I was 7 - so there had always been the thought that I would travel again when I had the money. So over the years I worked around the world including Australia, Papua New Guinea, Canada and the UK and many other countries. I eventually made it back to NZ in 1990 and have more or less been based there until earlier this year. During 6 months of 2007 my partner and I toured Australia in an old 4WD and a tent. We are now based in Perth, Western Australia, for the summer at least
I have been a geologist and worked in corporate IT. Now I am attempting to make a living on the net - we’ll see how it goes!
